Targetting bug in BWL
-
I start by targetting the big dude, then I target the skull. When you see me turn the camera with RMB, my target switches back to the big dude.
Just a guess here, but maybe when I RMB, my target becomes whoever I last moused over? Because if you watch the video, you see me highlight the big fella again, then when I RMB, my target changes to him.
But what's strange is that this ONLY happens in BWL, and seemingly only after Vael is dead.
EDIT: a few other people get this, too
-
is it 100% of the time?
if so you could try a pull with no addons to see if its that
looks annoying as fuck man
-
Doesn't happen all the time. But sometimes it happens several times in a single pull. It isn't always an enemy that it'll target. Sometimes it's a friendly, and sometimes it's even myself.
It is annoying. That's what caused me to fuck up a few times on those spellbinders.
Aye. I'll try w/o addons. But it's weird that it only happens in BWL. It happens to a few other people as well. Exact same problem. Only after Vael, too.
-
Probably an addon conflicting with another, using something like http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/API_TargetLastTarget
-
I've had the same problem for some time..it has caused me to cast a frostbolt on a non aggroed whelp during suppression room (luckily that one was immune so no problems caused).
I have to check my addons also. It seems to be only happening when we start a new pull and during the start of it a my target changes into something else automatically.

@Jorma
Don't suppose you could list every addon you're using, and we can compare to see what ones we are both using?
-
Those are the addons I am using
-
Fuck me - that's a huge list!
-
They have been gathering almost unnoticed.
I thought everyone has a list like that :o
-
Here's what I've got.

Most likely an issue with CT_RaidAssist. I experience this issue myself and I'll try disabling it next Wednesday. The problem usually occurs for me on Technician packs and big dragonkin packs after vael.
If you are keen on MT targets get oRA2 instead.
