I'm applying to raid in your guild after discovering you on the Nostalrius guild recruitment forums. I only hit 60 a few days ago so I've only just started obtaining my preraid gear. I had a chat with one of your officers ingame though and was told you recruit players rather than gear so I figured I might as well apply already.
About me:
30 years old, Finnish. I discovered Nostalrius last November and made it to lvl 35 on the PvP server before rolling on PvE. I still intend to keep on raiding on the PvE server but it's currently only one quick raid per week (BWL won't be out for another 3 months or so) and it takes place during the weekend. The lack of content on PvE is one of the main reasons I returned to the PvP server and finished leveling.The character I'm applying with (also my only character on the PvP server):

The gear is changing by the hour and is completely out of date already since no one has inspected me.I'm leaning slightly towards going DPS but either would be fine. I have about 1000G saved up for important items for whichever spec I decide to go for. Currently prot for gearing up.
Why Theorycraft?

- Liked what one of your officers had to say during a chat
- The guild "philosophy" in general seems to align well with my own
My credentials:
Retail (the very short version):
- Naxx cleared in vanilla (Windwalkers, Vek'nilash EU)
- Top 5 world boss kills in SSC (Last Resort, Kazzak EU)
- Went mostly PvP after burning out on prenerf Vashj, tons of high end arena s2-s9
- Raided in Group Therapy on Ravencrest from Cata to MoP, world rank 50-150 kills with 8 hours of raiding per week. Raided briefly with them during the start of WoD as well.

It hardly matters though and you can feel free to ignore this entire segment since retail is retail and does not matter here.

last edited by liekkiHey man, your application seems pretty solid and even though we have quite a few warriors already, I'm pretty sure we could fit one more in.
Like you said you were told, gear really isn't an issue for us as long as you work towards getting it fixed.

Ha. I played a warlock on Vek in MYEYZ. Good times! Damn, though, did you really clear Naxx there? Our shit fell apart right in the beginning of Naxx progress. :D

I really like this kind of attitude. They are two different games. Then again, your Retail Vanilla and TBC resumes are more impressive than probably any of ours. As a bonus, some of our officers know your guild from retail vanilla times which is pretty rare and a nice coincidence.
All in all, I am a fan of this application.
Nice Azuregos belt on your Tauren. Pretty hefty. How contested are those guys on the PvE realm? Here we have to go to quite some lengths to grab some of those. Azuregos being the hardest of the 6 to grab by far, too :)
Typically I would ask you for a fury warrior raid spec and why you choose whatever talents you choose, but I have a feeling you know what you are doing. Though fury warriors are under heavy scrutiny in our guild :P

Yeah I used to know Eoy quite well, talked to him for a long time even after WW disbanded. My hunter on Vek was called Beast.
MYEYZ always tried to gank us during world buffing, good times.

We've killed about 95% of the world bosses so far on the PvE server, our guild is pretty large and we camp them quite a lot. We also have a lot of "special" strategies for ensuring we get the kills even when we have competition.. things can get surprisingly dirty on PvE servers.

last edited by IstariaWell, if me and liekki like you, might as well invite. Usually liekki does not like fury warriors. They almost never impress him, so this is a good enough sign for me :p
