Anyway, you missed this very important part of the process: which other games do you play/have you played, why do you want to join this particular guild, why are you playing on this vanilla server and what do you wish to achieve here.
These things are very relevant, even more so than what kind of gear one has right now. Spec looks good btw :)

Vanilla? Coz i've missed this patch, and it's funny enough, no balance, sick crits.
Achive? I wanted to create own guild, but it turned out to be hard. What I want is to create/join 2-3 perfectly co-ordinated PvP groups of ppl who can use brain, understand logic and use it to do better(everything and everywhere) in order to own bgs, world pvp. It's impossible to do with out pve pieces, so first of all u have to obtain items from poor bosses.

All you do is good for you in one or another way. Moreover, when you are used to analyze things you cant ignore your profits and losses, because you just see them. You don't think they are good or bad, they just are. - Why your guild. I saw a lot of adults here, saw some people from this guild in game and I hoped that here I can not just waste my time playing video-game, but create something with somebody, teach and be taught. You know, it's a cycle: observe, analyze, improve. As long you deal with thinking people you would ( or will? ) always find something to observe, to analyze and to improve.
- Why am I focused on PvP that much? Because this is a way you learn: mob/boss follow same strategy every time, some of people dont. So you have to adapt yourself. And what is more complicated thing but brain? Ofcourse! 40 brains, 100 brains! It's fucking amazing!
I wanted to talk here a lot, but topics are to comlicated for my language skills, even in russian I can't explaing exactly what I mean. I belive everyone has this feeling from time to time.

last edited byI am somewhat worried about us not being a good fit because you seem to have a rather heavy PvP focus, which definitely does not exist in the guild right now. To my knowledge, we have never gotten a proper premade up, let alone 2 or 3.
As a PvE guild, it is always very worrying when someone is after bosses to get loot in order to play PvP. We do have several hc PvPers but their raid enthusiasm is just as high if not higher. I do not want you to feel like we are neglecting what you want to do in the game, is why I am concerned.

Which means I dont want to solo pvp, it's boring. Same policy used. As long as your group members don't have gear, you'll alwyas lose to better geared boys with equal skill of teams. It's easy to tell a person " attack red, heal green, stay out of fire, but dont heal when he is purple ", but you guys have a huge potential for progression in PvP aspect if you are good team in dungeons, just think about it.
My interest is more about strategy of pvp, strange moves like " what if half of the raid on AB drink invis pots and stab em from behind"
It's like in EVE online, if you know what I'm talking about.

I'm sure they're aware and probably cba to spend 500 hours farming for a small upgrade.
You seem like the kind of person that would've enjoyed the last 7 hours of guild chat though. Never ending debate about morality and evolutionary biology.

All I am saying is that most of our guys do not care about PvP so I am 99% sure you would not get such a group going in this guild, and we would not want to disappoint.
Our guys are very aware of the fact that some PvP gear is an upgrade for PvE but the effort it takes to get it is just too much for a minor upgrade. I never even bothered to farm rank 8-10 which is relatively simple to do, because you really don't need that gear to clear the content.

last edited by qqmuted2-3 because different variants ae possible, as you said, you go for munimum healing, maximum dps set up itn raids, if you played arena, you probably know, that in 5v5 there were 3 healers + 2 dd, 3 dd + 2 healers and 4 dd + 1 healer setups, same here. Moreover, 10 ppl wsg is different from 15 ppl AB and 40+ ppl world pvp on Azuregos.
Can't say I'm surprised.
As for disappointment, it's not possible when you don't expect anything (don't interpret it wrong way!) It's more like philosophy: you never centre your hopes so you never would be disappointed.
Last message made me feel denied, but I'm not sure if it was your final words.
I can still offer you a pve mage, which deals maximum damage possible with his current gear. And as a bonus I can be cosidered as a nice company, well, sometimes.
About being kind-hearted, helpful, aimed to the benefit of raid I would say following: I can entrust you my account while I'm not in-game and my time when I'm in game if you are the people you say.

last edited by IstariaI am not denying you, I am looking out for you. If you are heavily PvP focused (= you won't be fulfilled before you get a group going and experience that) there are guilds out there that do both well and have lots of people who wanna go PvPing when nothing is happening. Here, such people are a minority. Several folks have tried to setup PvP groups in TC to no avail. Very rarely a temporary thing happens where 10+ people queue for AV together to get some nice honor and rep on their alts but that's about it.
I would like more member and officer opinions on this thread btw!

last edited byYou mentioned that you play from 19-20 server time but raids start at 18:10-18:30. The rest of the discussion is irrelevant if you can't make it online in time, in my opinion.

last edited byI was wrong :) ST + 2 is my local time, and when I wrote 19-20 I was absolutely sure that it was ST+1, so everything is fine.

But as Istaria said in previous posts, this guild doesn't really do PvP at all. Let alone hardcore ranking pvp. I think I am the only one that did it in Theorycraft, the only PvP you will see is the occasional Battleground, but never close to a full group. I did my Rank12 grind to get PvE gear, and if you want to do the same I personally would give you a thumbs up for dedication etc (That being said I got no idea how well the mage gear compares to raiding gear etc) If you still feel like you would fit in the guild I personally wouldn't have a problem with giving it a go, especially since we could use a couple more dps.
btw, I also like drugs so +1
