Feral Dps Application

Why feral? Cos i wanna proove feral is good dps in vanilla.
So i'm an Elf Druid level 60. I'm 90% pre raid gear, i remain Shoulder of ubrs and cloak of baron.
Got my attune to onxya and MC.
In raid my consumable are : felwood buff/blastend land buff/ek'o buff/elixir of mangoose/ elixir of Brute Force/Dark Rune/mana potion.
My whole interface got Keybinding.

My Retail xp : I get the 3rd kill of illidan for french ppl. And i play on retail until WOD. (i clean MOP with a Top10 french guild in 25mode.)
My Private xp : On a french server got : 14/15xp Naxx as a Holypriest.
I know 2 person in your guild : Elari and Flaykkes. (Btw i raid with Flaykkes on AQ40 progress with my rogue).
If i forget something or please tell me. Btw i got the "real" Theorycrafting for feral druid. My gear is enchanting and ready to raid for you.Bojwolb. Cya !

We met at the Dire Maul North entrance and you told all of us that +9 weapon does not work!

last edited byBtw when i unequip my maces my shred do the same damage if why i said that. And i got the +9dmg on weapon for doing like "all".

last edited byI was testing it on my 20 druid as soon as I got catform with a weightstone. The difference is much bigger on these low level guys.
Anyway, our feral druid situation may already have fixed itself, but perhaps the guys you already know here could write you some letter of recommendation or straight invite you as a friend.
Furthermore, you didn't answer some of the key questions we want to hear from everyone! No one ever does :)

last edited byWeightone works but not the enchant (i just try it). Oh nevermind i forget a little story about me and the game and i forget to say i can raid/5man/10man/pvp each night. I dont know if it me or Pug are very low cos every raid i do i'm in top5 dps as feral.
So i start play on retail in vanilla but when Burning crusade was up i was level 50, so i don't do anything on vanilla on retail. Then Burning crusade was up, i kill maghtheridon in green gear because the guild who recruit me need a lot of warlock for Curse and Ban on this encounter. Then after i made the 3rd kill Fr of illidan with this guild. On wotlk i was in a top 10 guild then i join a french famous guild "Millenium", i wrote some guild of Theorycrafting for this famous french Website. On cataclysme i join a friend's guild who was in top 10 too and i stay in this guild until WOD. We do the 10th kill of Garrosh HM in 25man. Then i wont play on WOD so we a friend guildmate we reroll on a french private server on vanilla. After this i kill saphirron and KT best try was 20% as priest. after i play rogue i join a friend guild, i meet Flaykke here we was both top dps in rogue on AQ40 progress.
I like play League of Legend (Gold level), Diablo 2 (not the 3), Cs go.
I'm here cos my Last server is DEAD and i want clean Naxx.

last edited bySo, why a feral druid if you're used to playing a rogue in Vanilla as of late? I like the utility that a feral druid brings, but to a rogue player the numbers must seem uninteresting.

last edited byI like the gameplay of feral its near the gameplay of rogue (its like 4 or 5 keybinding very usefull for a great DPS) btw all my spell usefull is bind (like decurse/dispel poison/battlerez/Changeform Bear+Taunt/Fearie Fire/Barskin/tranquility(Very usefull for Horreb).
I have a little stuff with MP5 for assisting decurse fight or poison like on Chrommagus and boss of MC. Btw i prefer inervate myself for a great dps, on encounter who its on "farm" its ok but on progress Mana of healer is very impotant. Best fight for a feral is Majordomo i switch in humanoid form and dps with my spell when shield of cac is up on this way you are never "waiting" for do dps.

last edited byWell, I am happy that you have put some thought into how to get the most out of the cat, but I am personally not a big fan of the powershift because it means your utility is practically zero (== if you need to push some buttons and you have 0 mana left to push them you basically turn into a rogue. Also the group loses the 3% feral buff while you are out of form, and that buff is a big reason as to why we are so fond of the feral druid).
Our mentality is that the feral druid is utility first and dps second. However, of course it would be awesome to get the most dps out of an utility character. I'm just not sure if Powershifting is the answer. Maybe it is in farm raids.

last edited byyeah its why i got Dark Rune and mana potion. But i know the real interest for feral druid is the 3% crit, with Powershifting i got 66%uptime buff of Leader of pack, i can create a macro "BECAREFUL I'M POWERSHIFTING DONT BACKSTAB" for lol. For me feral is a real beast with AQ gear hybrid with trinket Maelstrom/wyrmthalak.

What's your opinion on [manual crowd pummeler]?

last edited bya must have in bag, we can switch weapon in combat so its a good weapon for "burst"

Though we did end up with 5 ferals in the raid at the end which is less than ideal. Anyway, still didn't talk to the french squad about you so I guess I should.

Very curious about moonkin spec and gear that you have, especially if you're as knowledgeable about that one as you claim to be about feral.
