Feral druid application
-
Character stuff: Night Elf male druid, Rank 8 (Knight-captain) (I grind rep a lot for pvp gear, since vanilla pvp gear was often the best feral gear).
Your age: 34 years.
Your nationality: Denmark
Current spec: 13-33-5 feral tank.and are you comfortable respeccing to whatever the guild may want (which may be very unorthodox stuff - possibly not working in PvP and grinding/5mans as well as regular specs): Mostly yes.
Your current gear and even more importantly, which upgrades are you most seeking in both 5 man and raid content:
I have pretty much fully BiS pre-raid (and a single raidpiece) tank gear for bear
[Atal'ai Spaulders] of the Monkey
[Slaghide Gauntlets] of the Monkey
[Cloudrunner Girdle]
[Breastplate of Bloodthirst]
[Eskhandar's Collar]
Both the armor trinkets, [Unyielding Maul], [Cloak of Warding] etc. etc.I also have a few swap-around pieces with more stamina/less avoidance and similar stuff for when situation calls for it. I have a (feral) fire resist set (117 fire resist unbuffed), some few shadow resist and nature resist (also feral) pieces laying around in the back too for when they eventually become necessary.
Same thing with cat dps gear, I think I have possibly 2 upgrades for catform outside of raid content:
[Cadaverous Armor]
and
[Truestrike Shoulders]Besides this, as I mentioned I pvp a lot outside of raid to grind reputation with WSG and AB so I can get the leather upgrades from there when they are made available in-game. I'm not far from Exalted with the WSG faction, AB will take a long time though :/
Currently not many good cat or bear uprgades at the raid level before ZG and BWL hits, the obvious ones would be [Wristguards of Stability], [Onyxia Tooth Pendant], [Heavy Dark Iron ring], [Band of Accuria], [Quick Strike Ring], [Cloak of the Shrouded Mists], [Dragon's Blood Cape] and so on depending on spec.
Healing gear wise I have +403 spell healing with so far 2 pieces of Tier1 (cenarion, bracers and leggings) and assorted +heal random nonset leather and cloth, all of it close to BiS for their various locations. I have the royal seal of Eldre'Thalas.
All my gear is enchanted with best enchants I have myself, and librams, except my healing helm since I expect to replace it soon :)
Raiding quest/attunement status: Currently attuned for everything currently available on Nostalrius live. Also revered with Hydraxian Waterlords.
When / how often are you available to raid and do 5man/PvP stuff in the guild: Usually Every day when I get home from work, which is around 16:30 to 17:00 server time.
I also have lvl300 enchanting and have almost all enchants, though I still lack crusader, lifestealing and 4 stats on chest.

Yeah. Talked a bit with this guy ingame and he has a very decent fire resist kit as well as all sorts of nice stuff.
However, you didn't answer some of the questions that we'd very much like to know in our guidelines to applying.

Oh, I will take a look at it again.

Ahh I see now, some background info: I used to play retail vanilla back in the day, also as a druid. For some reason the play style always attracted me and I found nothing else particularly attractive. Tried playing a priest and a shaman for a while but it never caught on for me so I went back to my druid. I played all the way through vanilla (MC, ZG, BWL, AQ20/40 fully cleared, some times as feral until Naxx hit when I went resto for-teh-guild. We got to 4 horsemen and then TBC came out, then I played through all of TBC (everything, including Sunwell) as feral (and mostly as tank, was maintank in early TBC) occasionally as resto if low on healers. Then WoTLK came out and I played until the way through release WOTLK including Ulduar (now permamently feral, mostly tanking occasionally dps) and then I finally had enough of wow. Took a break for I think 8 months, then dabbled a bit into Cataclysm, found out it was boring as shit so stopped again. Then tried mists of pandaria for like 2 months and was disgusted, then totally quit retail wow and haven't played since mists of pandaria launch.
Then a friend of mine told me about this private server running vanilla, and I missed the good old days and stuff so I joined this server about 3-4 months ago, farmed gear like a madman and decided to play feral druid again because I just fucking love being a feral druid. Found a nice raiding guild when I was unemployed, but it was an australian guild so the raidtimes have now come to conflict with my newfound job. I'm EU player (Denmark) so I've been meaning to find another raiding guild that raids in EU compatible timezome that also wants a feral druid.
I have a few friends on this server that I usually pvp with or run 5mans. As for why I want to join your guild, primarily because you are the first guild I have been able to find in a compatible timezone that is looking for a feral druid. I have no experience with your guild members as far as I remember (i might ahve run 5mans with some occasionally), but besides that I don't know anything about what is available on your forums about your guild. What do I want to achieve? All the old vanilla content again, as feral where at all possible. Unfortunately back in the day I had a hard time convincing the various guilds I was in in vanilla retail, that feral could be viable, so I spend most of the time as resto. The people and guilds on this private server seem more open minded about this, so I'm hoping to get to experience the old content in a new way I never really got to experience back in the day.
Oh, I also have an epic mount XD
Outside of wow, if for some reason I need a break from wow, I go and play some GTA-5, watch movies/tv series, listen to music, ride my bike to stay in shape and fap to recordings of obscenely scantily clad women if there's no willing female about.

Since Variola and Wiccy also like you, I've decided to accept this application.
We will invite you in game when you're free, but for now you can check our forums to see what we are all about since you don't know much about us yet.
Welcome, hopefully you'll fit in because we sure could use a second active feral druid :)
